Masjid Al Salam Canada Day Celebrations

Saturday July 2nd, Hundreds of people gathered at Masjid Al Salam to celebrate Canada Day with much enthusiasm after few years of covid lockdown.
The event was organized by BCMA Masjid Al-Salaam & Education Center, Burnaby chapter and was open to all Muslim and general Public. The Celebrations was filled with joy, activities for kids and delicious BBQ lunch. Children thoroughly enjoyed the bouncing castle, balloons and painting, etc. Bob Ibrahim also acknowledged and thanked all the local dignitaries including Mayor of Burnaby Mike Hurley, MP Peter Julian, MLA Raj Chauhan and MLA Anne Kang.
At the end of the celebrations a cake cutting ceremony took place to mark Canada’s 155th anniversary of Confederation on July 1st.
