Ride a MotorCycle Ramadhan Tour

Just days before the start of Ramadhan 2017, A group of bike riders decided to take a tour of Mosques in BC while riding their Bikes.
"It has not been done before and this is surely a first” said Maualna Anees one of the organizers of ride for ramadhan tour.”
The journey started on saturday may 29 from Masjid Al Salam at dhur salat and eneded Sunday Isha Salat at Pentiction. The idea was to get connected with the youth and draw them towards the mosque just before ramadhan at the same time taking the opportunity to raise awareness about ramadhan.
Maulana Anees says, “The purpose and objective of this trip was achieved with great results. This Tour brought not only awareness for the month of Ramadhan, but created a sense of brotherhood between the riders and the communities we visited. At each town and masjid, we were greeted with enthusiasm and shown hospitality.
Despite being on the road most of the time, not one salah was missed in jama’ah!
The riders learnt that enjoying life doesn’t equal breaking Allah’s commands or that our Deen is difficult. After every salah and stop, we would have lengthy conversations about verses of the Qur’an and Hadith and their messages and meanings.
Many thanks to the Masaajid and their communities for hosting us. May Allah reward them immensely.”
