10th Annual Ramadan Spirit Food Drive

For the past 10 years during the blessed month of Ramadan, Pakistan-Canada Association has fed the homeless and impoverished of the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver. This year saw PCA provide 1000 meals thanks to the generous contributions from Pak National Foods and members of the Board and Trust of PCA. Vancouver Councilor Andrea Reimer along with Consul General Mohd. Tariq and Vice Consul Fahad Amjad joined us to serve meals and help provide small relief to those in need. The spirit of Islam was strong once again and PCA was pleased to continue this long and important tradition of giving back. In the name of the late Muhammad Ali on July 2nd we helped 'knockout hunger.'
