"Welcome to this special evening. I'm attempting to condense over 300 years of Anglo-Indian history in 10 minutes.
The British Empire once held absolute power in over 52 countries. About two-fifths of the world. But there was only one jewel in the crown - India. The first European settlers in India were the Portuguese in 1498 about 100 years before the British. The Dutch, French and the British followed.
They were all here for the duration. The inevitable happened and a new mixed race community emerged. Even though the British came in peacefully as merchants and traders they soon colonized the sub-continent of India. But the British needed allies to protect the jewel in the crown and so began a deliberate policy, encouraging British males to marry Indian women to create the first Anglo-Indians". Were we favored? Yes, the English trusted us. After all we were blood related.
We became indispensable. We lived comfortably and were protected by the British Raj. Like the British we had servants to do all our domestic work. The average Anglo-Indian
home could afford at least three full time servants - a cook, and the indispensable nanny-ayah. Part time servants included a gardener, cleaner and laundry man (dhobi)".

We had the same luxury described even after the Independence. The most important core of the story: proves how we are all intertwined with each other through marriages and religious conversions.
We the Ismailis were Hindus in India and converted to Ismailism, then some of us onverted to Islam after coming to the Western countries and discovered Islam, Judeo Christianity, the Bible and the Quran all Divine Revelations intertwined, and all tribes intertwined by it. SubhanAllah.
Millions of Muslims consists of Bani Israel-12 tribes of Prophet Israel-Jacob (AS), the Jews, Christians, Punjabi, Hindus, Somalians, Ethiopians, Assyrians, and Aryans, all converts accepted the final Revelation, standing shoulder to shoulder praying to the one Creator only by accepting the Divinely Message of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Mankind was told about this intertwined community as 'One community' 15C. ago by Allah- the Creator of the Universe through HIS final Revelation the Al-Quran. If only we would listen to HIM as good obedient children then only we could comprehend the meaning of 'One community', and One GOD, removing HIS hatred removes hatred of each other.
It is O.K. to hate the criminal acts but not the persons, who needs divine guidance.
