BCMA plan to sponsor Syrian Refugees.

Many brothers and sisters from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries are asking about BCMA plan to sponsor refugees. The community was very generous all the way to donate financially to private sponsor refugees program.
1- BCMA still waiting for the approval of the Federal Immigration and Citizenship Ministry. BCMA was promised to get the approval last Dec. 2015.
2- As soon as the agreement is signed by the government, the priority will go to those Canadian families who expressed willingness to financially sponsored one refugee family. Those individuals will be matched with very serious and humanitarian refugee cases.
3- The second priority will be given to the brothers and sisters who are Canadian citizens and financially able to sponsor their relatives.
4- The third priority will also be given to those able to support part of the financial cost to bring in their relatives.
5- The fourth stage where BCMA will consider sponsoring families based on documented medical and humanitarian cases.
6- BCMA along with MOSAIC will review a long list of Syrian refugee families may not be living in one of UNHCR camps or in the neighboring countries. Some of them are trapped and urgently need help.
