Congratulations to Mr. Adam Soliman

11-04-2015

ECCS-BC would like to proudly congratulate its member, Mr. Adam Soliman, for being selected to join in the Harvard Law School’s Visiting Scholar Program for the academic year 2015/2016.

Each year, the Graduate Program of Harvard Law School hosts some 30 to 35 Visiting Scholars and Visiting Researchers from around the world. A Visiting Scholar is generally a Professor of Law at another institution. In selecting applicants for Visitor status, the Committee on Graduate Studies considers the applicant's background, field of interest, scholarly achievement and research proposal. A very competitive process that only those with a discrete record of academic and professional achievements may be selected.

Further to his current practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Vancouver, BC, Adam is also an Adjunct Professor of Law, specializing in international agricultural, food, and fisheries laws and regulations, at Dalian Maritime University, China, and the University of British Columbia, Canada.

His track record is a true reflection of a well seasoned professional and academic entrepreneur. His education covers a wide range from agriculture, food, fisheries to economics and law. His career ranges from agro-food business and sales to management, law and academia. His works range from writing and teaching to professional practice. His hobbies range from cooking to being a world traveler who believes that only sky is the limit.

Indeed, ECCS-BC is proud of having Mr. Soliman as a member and as a role model to our younger generation. We do wish him all the success in all his future endeavors.
