Ismaili Tariqa not against Hijabs

8-26-2015

My great grandfather was a Indian Hindu converted to Islam and then he accepted Ismaili Tariqa. I don't really know the exact impact of Bill 62 or Bill 59 or the politics that is played across the World but history says that Canadian, UK, Indian and Pakistani government did welcome Ismailis during the 1972 African political unrest where most of the South Asian people including Ismailis living in Africa were asked to leave country by Idi Amin, the military martial. I am an Muslim Ismaili and I don't believe any Imams in Ismaili Tariqa has ever made a farman to wear short dresses. Unfortunately the fights that has happened and is already happening in other parts of the World against Shias ever since the time of death of Prophet (S.A.W.S.) has continued and some people never understood the true essence of what Prophet said to respect brothers of Islam including Highly Esteemed Spiritual Imams who guide their followers to stay on the right path of Islam but not to go astray. If a women doesn't wear a hijab or cover her face then its her choice, you live in North America and you know till what extent a women goes, thats why in Quran the role of women is clearly stated and still if they deviate by saying that Imams told us then in my language that is all a B.S. But I hope may Allah give you right hidaayat to walk on path of Sirat-Al-Mustaqeen and make you understand to respect the importance of Imam of any Mosque or tariqa.
