ICNA Park Cleanup Event

It was wonderful to see brothers and sisters coming out to care for their neighborhood. This is fourth year in a row alhamdulilah these volunteers have been cleaning Newton Athletic Park every spring since 2011.
Community members gathered to clean Community Park at the start of spring 2015. ICNA Canada started to organize clean-up events in Surrey five year ago in collaboration with city of Surrey. Alamdulilah brothers and sisters gather every year and volunteer time for community.
Events like this organized by Muslim community group sends a positive message to main stream community. It shows that we care, and we want to give back. City of Surrey featured our cleanup event in the city’s newsletter. May Allah accept the efforts of brothers and sisters..aameen
