Jasbir Sandhu Congratulates the Muslim Community for Eid Al Adha

Surrey North Member of Parliament Jasbir Sandhu has extended his sincere felicitations to the Muslim community of BC as they mark the annual Hajj pilgrimage and Eid al Adha.
“Many from our community are among the over 2 million Hajj pilgrims currently in Mecca, to participate in one of the world’s largest and most diverse annual faith gatherings,” remarked Sandhu. “This is a remarkable show of renewal of faith and critical self-reflection that honours the spirit of sacrifice and charity.”
“Eid al Adha is an important reminder of the important of sacrifice, charity and repentance in our lives, and I would therefore like to convey my sincere greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate this auspicious day,” said Sandhu.
