I would like to extend my best wishes to the Muslim community of British Columbia, as you participate in the month of Ramadhan from June 29th, to July 29th, 2014.
This Special annual spiritual time for Muslims in British Columbia brings the community together, Strengthens your commitment to follow in the teachings of Islam, reinforces your devotion to your faith, and brings many individuals and families together to enjoy traditional foods and camaraderie.
I commend community groups that preserve and honor their cultural heritage. It is important to remember your traditions and embrace Canadian ideals.
