‘SUCCESS OF ‘D’ Day’!

An eye opening commemoration of ‘D’ day, the Battle of Normandy, WWII 6th June 1944: remarkable an allied invasion of Beaches of Normandy, Utah, Omaha, Juno,  and Sword, that launched 156, 000 soldiers comprising of Americans Canadians, Polish, Belgium, Czech, Dutch, and Norwegian, Free French resistance fighters, involvement of General Charles de Gaulle, Winston Churchill, and huge amount of  war equipments of 5000 Ships, 12,000 Planes, etc. All contributing to the success, as all united for the common cause as all done in the name of ‘Liberation’.

Though, the turning point of success of ‘D’ day battle for Normandy and defeat of
Nazi Germany was made possible by the allied forces described as the biggest and largest military amphibious invasion: and the intelligence work of destruction of 1,800 railway locomotives, cutting telephone wires and blowing up telegraph poles throughout Normandy, destroying the railway system, and railway lines, stations and locomotives were blown up, crippling German movement to ensure to defeat the evil regime.

Seeing and listening to the Veterans slipping back in time remembering the heart breaking events, taking us to the reality of wars its gain and loss. The Days of devastation and hardship of war, casualties of 425, 000, yet standing firm for the good cause to fight against the Nazi Germany, and to get rid off the notorious ruler Hitler that can described as the true struggle Jihaad (not holy war, nor suicide bombing) to help and save other nations from the tyrant rulers.
