AlAmeen Humanitarian Project – Appeal for Thar Pakistan.

3-26-2014

“Wherever there is a human in need, there is an opportunity for kindness and make a difference.” With this thought in mind we are appealing to our readers, once again, to reach into their pockets and help support AlAmeen Post’s latest initiative for the children and families, stricken by famine in Thar, Pakistan.

Tharparker, Pakistan, also known as “Thar” is a vast desert located 300 KM north of Karachi, all the way to India’s Border and continuing in Rajasthan. It is a remotely located area, and one of the least developed regions of Pakistan. More than 200 people have died, 41 of them children, due to famine and malnutrition. The Government has ordered a probe. However, it is the immediate help which is needed to assist the victims.

AlAmeen Continuous relief efforts, is once again taking a lead in partnership with Ottawa Based, Revenue Canada, Tax Deductible, Muslim NGO, Human Concern International (HCI), to help our brothers and sisters around the world whenever and wherever they might need us.

Most recently, our readers responded generously, $11,400, donated through HCI to assist in building shelters Myanmar, for Rohingyan Refugees from Burma.

Contribution by AlAmeen Post and its readers was part of a massive relief operation, $130,000 US, undertaken by HCI in building shelters benefitting 1200 refugees, or 200 families of six individuals. Although no matter how big or small the contribution might seem, we are grateful to our readers for responding to our appeal initiatives in assisting our brothers and sisters around the world.

As usual, we are once again making an appeal for the children and families suffering in Thar, Pakistan due to famine and malnutrition and requesting our readers to reach into their pockets once again and generously support our current initiative for the victims of Thar, Pakistan.

Please send your donations directly to HCI in support of our initiative.
